Bamurru Plains

Bamurru Plains is located in the Swim Creek Station, a buffalo reserve of some 300 km², near Point Stuart in the region of Mary River that extends to the coast. Here you will find a variety of different habitats, large banks, coastal plains that risk being flooded, a wooded savannah and swamps planted with Malaleuca that are literally bursting with life !

Accommodation :
"Luxury in the bush" : A style of housing near safari camps to experience a unique experience, rustic, but sophisticated in the exceptional setting of the bush.

Nine bungalows designed to respect everyone’s needs for privacy while offering spectacular views of the swamps. Each room enjoys a balcony protected through a mosquito net, overlooking the plains and a fan on the ceiling for the driest winter months (April to October); Air conditioning in three rooms with an extra charge.
The bathrooms come with a high-pressure water shower as well as hot water.

Dining :
The lodge is the meeting place for dinner and to meet up with the other guests.
Due to the early morning departure to observe the wildlife at dawn, the first meal is taken at the end of the morning (towards 11:00), when back to camp.
A three-course dinner is served around 7:30 p.m. each evening at the guest tables. The fare is typically Australian with a dose of Aboriginal dishes. An open bar with a selection of wines, beers, alcohols and non-alcoholic beverages is included in the price.
