Alan Faena and Philippe Starck have transformed this former grain elevator into a modern and luxurious hotel, located in the heart of El Porteno, the artist district, in Puerto Madero. Built from imported Manchester bricks a century ago, the Belle Epoque building now has a younger look thanks to a spectacular restoration, making it among one of the most interesting hotels in the capital. Imagine a red glass-fronted door standing 10 meters-high, opening onto the "Cathedral", a corridor 80 meters long lit by huge engraved glass windows. Everything, about this 15,000 square metres of hotel, including the theatrical decor, is larger than life.
