 | Haymarket - Londres // Royaume uni Haymarket - LondresThe Haymarket Hotel is the seventh hotel in the English capital opened by Tim and Kit Temp. The façade was designed by John Nash, the master architect who developed most of Regency London, including Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Marble Arch and the adjoining Haymarket Theatre. The owners managed to combine the classical style of the building with a contemporary decoration. When entering the impressive entrance hall, guests are welcomed by a Tony Cragg steel sculpture and large black and white John Virtue pictures of London.
| Accommodation : The hotel consists of 50 spacious rooms and suites boasting large beds, as well as an exclusive apartment. Each room has its own identity; antique or contemporary furniture, modern lighting, every detail is looked after, from shagreen tables to the ceruse finishing. All rooms are equipped with latest technology, including an I-Pod docking station and have a 24-hour room service.
Restaurant : The Brumus bar and restaurant offers a modern English brasserie style cuisine with fresh seasonal food under the leadership of chef Robin Read. It has an interesting collection of wines and champagnes that can be ordered by the glass. Lilac and pink colours bring about the warm atmosphere in which Peter Rocklin paintings are exhibited and a almost natural-size horse in bronze occupies a place of honour on the bar. The bar serves snacks concocted by the chef, all day long.
