Its impressive wooden architecture actually takes on the allure of the surrounding villages blending the flagstone roofs and the larch facades in a contemporary elegance.

For the inside of the 5 floors of "les Barmes de l'Ours", the architect Michel Force has wished to keep the authenticity of materials and fabric.
The hotel offers an amazing view on the snow-covered mountains. It has 49 rooms and 26 suites, some with bunk beds (for children only). All bathrooms are made out of wood and marble. Restaurants :
- Le Pas de l'Ours is an attractive grill room which offers several kind of meats
- Le Coin Savoyard, is dedicated to local tradition : old sledges, red tables and leather chairs. Cheese specialities are proposed here : "tartiflettes", "fondues" or "raclettes"...
- La Table de l'Ours, is a high gastronomic place. Unique star restaurant of Val d'Isère : one star at the Michelin guide - 2 "toques" Gault Millau. You can taste traditional cuisine. - The Sofa bar, a warm place where you can meet at the
bar. You can have a cup of tea and blueberry pies, homemade chocolates, and many more scrumptious pastries.
At aperitif time, the barman prepares explosive 3D Cocktails. At night, the Sofa bar turns into a refined atmosphere bar, where you come to discover Richard's secrets, the chief barman. Spa :800 m² of open space, on the moutains. It is one of the biggest spa of the Alpes. Activities :
