Better yet, it now has a total new style and a new name! Today it is called 3.14. Cannes. With such an intriguing name which brings back memories of our former mathematics classes, the 3.14 could not escape from the magic of numbers. This hotel focuses on a unique theme revolving around the five principles of Feng Shui (water, wood, iron, metal and earth) for an optimal flow of energy. Furthermore, the decoration, an invitation for an enchanting journey, is based on the 5 continents. The designer, Karine Ellena-Partouche, an avid traveller, wanted to share with us, her passion for the cultures of far away lands. At the 3.14, she invites guests to discover perfumes, colours and atmospheres specific to each of the five continents. |
Accommodation : 81 rooms, including 15 suites spread over 5 floors. On the first floor, you will be welcomed in a kitsch and colourful America. The ocean tone walls contrast with an explosion of acid colours, sequoia perfumes and cedar wood tones. In Africa, the Moorish style windows are draped with Oriental curtains. Oceania is all freshness and natural materials. Then (on the forth floor), Europe reveals its charms, decked out in frills, in a true Parisian Belle Époque style, with velvet and padding flosses. The last floor is a tribute to a very contemporary Asia. We find ourselves in Japan, with a mixture of design and traditions, and patchouli and jasmine fragrances.

The talented Chef Mario d'Orio of the restaurant, prepares Mediterranean specialities, with a little spicy touch from the distant lands of the five continents.
