KanuhuraThe small red and black seaplane of the Maldivian Taxi dance company flies off into the sky after having dropped off its passengers on the teak pontoon of Kanuhura. This is it; you’re at the other side of the world. For a week or a few days, this is going to be your paradise on a sand stretch of one kilometer by two hundred metres. A place where you can enjoy the gentle pleasures of life, with its stone villas with thatched roofs set in a luscious exotic vegetation or in the turquoise water of the lagoon. This is the ultimate luxury hiding place.

Accomodation :
Kanuhura disposes of 100 villas available in five categories, all with sea view and access to either a private white sand beach or wooden stairs directly leading to the crystal clear waters of the lagoon.
68 individual Beach Villas of 62 m2.
5 double Beach Villas : 132 m2.
2 Grand Beach Villas : 188 m2.
18 Water Villas (125 m2) and 2 Grand Water Villas (135 m2).
All rooms have a dressing room; spacious bathrooms equipped with bath and shower.
The villas have air conditioning, a ceiling fan, colour TV, an Ipod docking station, stereo and DVD player, direct dial for international calls, access to broadband Internet, and a mini bar.
Each villa comes with its own butler taking care of the guests during their stay
Restaurants :
Kanuhura has three different restaurants and a bar.
Thin Rah : a spacious well ventilated restaurant offering the best of European and Asian cuisine for breakfast and dinner.
Olive Tree : this restaurant draws its inspiration from the Mediterranean. It’s an à la carte restaurant open for lunch and dinner.
Veli Café : a cosy, romantic restaurant open for lunch and dinner.
Handhuvaru Bar : spacious and partly covered with sand. The bar and pool menu offers a variety of meals all day long.
Spa :
At Kanuhura, there is the "Sanum per Aqua" Spa, in Latin, health through
water, which offers a unique and ultimate experience. This Spa contains
eight treatment cabins, four of which are double rooms for two persons
for a side by side treatment. And there is Kandu-Olhi, a spa Pavilion on
a coral dust beach.
The products that are used are based on
aromatic blends of flowers, herbs, fruits with a marine origin. The spa
also includes a beauty salon, boutique and steam baths, dry sauna, a
cold water basin and separate jacuzzi for men and women.
Activities :
Monoski, windsurfer, catamaran, funboard, bananas, kayaks, canoes, pedal
boats, speed boats and underwater scooters are available in the
nautical activities centre. Diving but also sport fishing are
appreciated activities at Kanuhura.
Children (but not exclusively)
have all day access to a playroom, movie theatre and library.
